Abalone pieces in an abalone and roasted-pork broth.

Ingredients: Abalone (Ezo Awabi), Pork Broth, Salt. 

Haliotis Discus Hannai - Japanese Abalone - Cluas Mhara Seapanach

Allergens: Contains Shellfish

Although a Japanese species, the Haliotis Discus Hannai was first introduced to Ireland in the 1970's by the Carna Research Lab in Co. Galway and have continued to be farmed in the West of Ireland ever since.  

Mungo Murphy's Abalone are fed a diet of freshly hand-harvested seaweed only (Mungo does not permit soy substitutes or dry feed to enter the gut of his precious abalone!) and they live out their days happily grazing on seaweed in the pristine Atlantic waters of Connemara, in the West of Ireland.
