Kelp (Laminaria digitata) – A brown seaweed rich in calcium and magnesium and with notable traces of manganese, copper, zinc, riboflavin, niacin, thiamine, vitamins A, B-12, B-6, and C is a highly nutritious and versatile ingredient. Kelp is also the only rich natural vegetable source of Vitamin D. 


Culinary uses

 Kelp can be used to make dashi broths, sliced thinly to make an Asian- slaw, added to soups and salads or to wrap fish before cooking to add flavour in the cooking process.
