Mungo Murphy's seaweed is harvested from the pristine Atlantic waters of Connemara, in the West of Ireland.

The abalone, sea cucumber and sea urchins that we grows on our farm are fed a pure diet of fresh hand-harvested seaweed - nothing else - ensuring that all of our seafood produce are of the highest quality and taste.

It is considered a rare delicacy and is especially prized in East-Asian cultures for its health benefits.  Mungo Murphy’s Connemara Abalone are fed a pure and organic diet of sustainably harvested seaweed locally sourced from the wild Atlantic shores of Connemara. Due to its healthy, seaweed-grazing diet, abalone is a rich source of protein that is high in iron and omega-3 fatty acids and, low in fat.

The Sea Urchins Mungo grows on the farm are only fed wild harvested Kelp (Laminaria digitata)to ensure a healthy production of roe. While the process is slow, it is worth the wait.
